Literacy at Somerset Oaks Academy
My passion for teaching started since I was very little. I am currently finishing my BA in Early Child Education at the Florida International University. My goal is to finish this summer and be able to inspire the new generation. I am the SEL Teacher at Somerset Preparatory Academy Homestead. I love that I can teach and guide the students on how to work with their emotions. Every class I have with them inspires me to be a better teacher and mentor for them and help them navigate through their emotions. Outside of the classroom I love to spend time with family doing activities outside such as biking or camping. I also have a passion for traveling and eating. I live by the quote by Steve Prefontaine “To give anything less than your best, is to sacrifice the gift”
