Wells Cunningham received a master’s degree in cello performance from the Eastman School of Music and a bachelor’s degree in cello performance from the University of Miami. His playing has been featured on numerous recordings and movie soundtracks, including songs by Mark Anthony, Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin, Nelly Furtado, Taylor Dayne and many others. Mr. Cunningham’s students have been accepted into Eastman, Julliard, Oberlin, Interlochen and many other top conservatories, and his students have won numerous local and national competitions including the Alhambra concerto competition, the New World Symphony concerto competition and the top $50,000 prize at the Sphinx national string competition.
