Preparatory Division registration is open to youth with little to no previous musical experience. Students must be at least 5 year old, but some instruments require that students be older. Wind instrument students should be at least 8 years old. Please speak to GMYS staff for specific guidelines for each instrument, please call us at 305-667-4069 or email us for further information. Preparatory classes are held throughout the week at various community locations, please check the rehearsal page for rehearsal location listings.
